These Site Terms apply to your use of the Franchise Starters Group Inc. website. Please read them with our Privacy Policy. Services you purchase are also subject to the applicable service agreement, subscription terms and Standard Terms for Client Engagements.

Website information and professional advice

Website content provides general information about franchise development, franchise buying and restaurant performance. It is not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and it should not be treated as a recommendation to purchase a particular franchise. Submitting an inquiry does not by itself create a client engagement. The scope of any paid service is agreed separately.

Franchise opportunities, costs and territory availability require confirmation. Examples of past work describe those engagements and do not predict another client’s outcome. Reports and sample materials do not promise increased revenue, profit, a successful expansion or continued business viability. Decisions should reflect your circumstances and appropriate independent professional advice.

Using website content

FSG content and third-party materials are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. You may view the site and print reasonable extracts for your own information, retaining relevant notices. Do not republish, sell or present the material as your own without the rights holder’s permission. Client reports and other engagement deliverables remain subject to the agreement governing those services.

Brand names and third-party images belong to their respective rights holders. Their appearance does not establish that a franchise is available for purchase or that the brand endorses FSG, unless expressly stated.

Responsible use and submissions

Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, introduce harmful code, disrupt the service or submit material you have no right to share. Keep account credentials private and provide accurate contact information. Avoid sending sensitive business records through a general inquiry form; use the designated service channel.

Accuracy, availability and external links

Information may change or contain errors. We endeavour to keep it useful, but do not warrant that every page is complete, current or uninterrupted. External websites are operated by others, and a link is not an endorsement of all their content or practices. Ordinary email should not be assumed to provide secure delivery of confidential records.

Service and subscription terms

Fees, taxes, scope, billing, cancellation and any refund rights are described in the applicable offer and agreement. These Site Terms do not replace those terms or remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are unsure which terms apply, contact FSG before proceeding.

Changes and questions

We may update these Site Terms and will post the revised version here. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be handled under its agreement and applicable law. Subject to mandatory laws that apply to you, these Site Terms are governed by Ontario law and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
