Accessibility Policy

Draft for review · September 26, 2026

Draft policy. Final wording and operating practices must be confirmed before launch.

Franchise Starters Group Inc. is committed to providing services that respect the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We aim to identify and remove barriers so clients and prospective clients can access information, communicate with us and participate in our services.

Accessible service and communication

Tell us how we can best communicate with you. We will work with you to arrange a reasonable accessible format or communication support in a timely manner, taking your needs into account and without an additional charge for that accommodation. This may include an accessible document, a different meeting format or assistance with information on the website.

People may use their own assistive devices and be accompanied by a support person or service animal when accessing our services, subject to applicable law and the requirements of the meeting location. We will discuss any relevant arrangements in advance and respect the client’s privacy when a support person is involved.

Website and documents

Our design goals include clear headings, keyboard navigation, readable contrast, useful alternative text and forms with understandable labels. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a reference and work toward meeting applicable Ontario accessibility requirements. This statement is a commitment to improvement, not a claim that every page, document or third-party service has been independently certified.

If an online form, report, document or booking process presents a barrier, contact us for an alternative way to obtain the information or service.

Service interruptions and training

If an accessibility-related service or feature is temporarily unavailable, we will provide notice where practicable, explain available alternatives and share the expected duration when known. Personnel involved in providing services will receive accessibility guidance and training appropriate to their duties and applicable requirements.

Employment and ongoing improvement

We will consider disability-related accommodation needs in recruitment and employment in accordance with applicable requirements. Feedback and identified barriers will inform improvements to our services, website and policies.

Feedback and accommodation requests

Please contact FSG with the page or service involved, the barrier you experienced, your preferred way to communicate and any accommodation you would like us to consider. You do not need to provide a medical diagnosis to report a website barrier. We will review the concern and discuss a practical response with you. This policy is available in an accessible format on request.
